Meet the Team
Jeff is an owner of CrossFit 262 and has almost a decade of coaching experience at the gym. He has coached thousands of people from all different walks of life over the years, and can gladly say he has friends on many continents because of it! He continues to enjoy sharing in celebrations of PRs from clients whether they’ve been there with him since the beginning 10 years ago or are there working out for the first time. One thing he is extremely proud of is that his parents are now avid gym-goers.
Aside from CrossFit (which has consumed a large portion of his life), Jeff enjoys playing music, traveling to exotic countries with his wife, and eating good food. He and his wife recently welcomed their first baby into their family!

Ashley is one of the founding members at Guitar Town Athletics/CrossFit 262, participating in CF for almost 10 years. Jamie Carter is a busy mom of two and a social worker by day. She began her CrossFit journey in 2014 at CrossFit 262. Prior to finding CrossFit she struggled to maintain a consistent fitness program. She admits to feeling lost at those global gyms, aimlessly wondering trying to figure out what exercise to do next and not having the same motivation she had in competive athletics. As a past swimmer, gymnast, and track athlete, she missed the structured conditioning, team support, and competive aspect offered through sports. She.was looking for this in a fitness program and after attending her first CrossFit class at CrossFit 262, she fell in love with the balance of strength and skill as well as the community.
Jamie participated in her first ever CrossFit competition, the 2015 Midwest Monster held at CrossFit 262, and was hooked after this. After 8 years of doing CrossFit she obtained her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate in August of 2022. She began coaching classes at CrossFit 262 shortly thereafter. She uses her knowledge of gymnastics skills to teach movements such as handstands, kipping pull-ups/toes-to-bar, and muscle ups. Jamie loves the strength programming offered through CrossFit, specifically Olympic Lifting (Snatch and Clean + Jerk). She enjoys teaching these lifts and stresses the importance of good form before lifting heavy. This allows athletes to focus on their technique, reducing the likelihood of injury and increasing efficiency with their lifts. Jamie also values a balance of strength and mobility for athletes. She has her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate and brings this knowledge into classe as well as teaching the occasional yoga class at CrossFit 262. Jamie’s favorite aspect of coaching is seeing members crush their goals, whether that’s hitting a PR on a lift or gaining a new skill they never thought they would be able to do.
Chelsea has been coaching at 262 since 2022. Outside of the gym, she’s a Hospitalist Physician Assistant and photographer, dog mom and wife who loves the outdoors.
Chelsea came to CrossFit 262 in 2019 after years of not working out with no CrossFit experience, looking for a guided exercise program to help her get in shape. She quickly found out that 262 was more than a place to work out- it was a fun, supportive community full of great people who would grow to become close friends. She even married one of them! The gym became a home away from home, and she credits finding 262 with helping her become the healthiest, fittest, happiest version of her self yet.
As a healthcare provider she sees every day the importance of good nutrition and staying physically active through all stages of life. She wanted to help other people fall in love with CrossFit as a way to make prioritizing their health fun and easy no matter their age or fitness level, so she got her CrossFit Level 1 Certification and joined the coaching staff. She knows it can be intimidating to start something new, but wants you to know you’ll be so happy you did!

He is a regular at the 5:30am Fit262 class and enjoys the camaraderie and inspiration that the other members provide. Despite having a fully stocked garage gym, he would much rather workout with the crew at 262! He sees the negative health consequences of inactivity at work on a daily basis and would love to see everybody learning how to move better and make their bodies stronger as part of their health journey in an environment like @Fit262!

Dan grew up and attended school in Waukesha, WI. He began his career as a professional DJ and music producer at the age of 18 after finding early success making music on the family PC. One of his first recordings was released on a compilation that soon went gold & he quickly started touring throughout the United States and Europe. During his time as a musician he owned and operated two successful niche record labels and one of the Midwest’s most beloved record shops.
At age 30, living in Miami Beach, Dan was jet-lagged, overworked, out of shape and in desperate need of a drastic lifestyle change. He engaged in a course of personal and professional transformation, first overhauling his own diet and exercise habits. Inspired, he was drawn to share this transformation with others.
Dan opened his first fitness and nutrition center in Miami in 2008 followed by another location in Miami Beach in 2011. He currently owns the location in Miami & works out of Fit 262 in his hometown. He has created achievable successes for many people of diverse backgrounds at these locations, pushing Dan to reach out beyond his local markets and work with people all over the world, online.
Dan continues to embrace his local & online community with a commitment to a balanced approach for nutrition and exercise.
